Kate: I'm a recently-married law librarian currently in the Northeast. I like knitting, long walks on the beach, and pina coladas.

Katie: I'm a librarian working at a non-library job while I look for a real job. I live in New Hampshire and knit a lot.

Erin: I'm a catalog librarian living in the StL with my husband, my cat, and my dog. I like irony, my iPod, Top Chef, and red velvet cake...though not necessarily in that order.

Jaymi:I'm friends with Micaela and a writer (gasp! a non-librarian). I'm currently in-between writing contract jobs and still writing for D*I*Y Planner. Have some projects going on but I figure since reading is one of them... I can do it along with this program.

Rita: I'm a former librarian now working as a medical editor, living in New Orleans with my husband and our three furkids. When I'm not reading or working, I'm knitting, rolling through my Netflix list, walking the dogs, riding my bike, and practicing my flute.

Cynthia: I'm a medical librarian in Knoxville, TN.  I have been doing more crocheting than reading lately, as many friends have been popping out babies.  ;)  I have a cat (Daisy) and am looking forward to many exciting things this summer, including getting my braces off and going to Dollywood at least twice.

Carrie:  I'm a library student currently working as the children's summer reading clerk at a public library.  I don't think the fun should end at age 17, though, so I'm really excited about this group!  I'm also friends with Erin. 

Liz: I'm a librarian who loves to read, watch movies, cook, and cultivate friendships. I live in the Los Angeles area and love being a California girl.

Sara:  Not a librarian - just an avid reader as well as an avid quilter and knitter.

Amy:  I'm a corporate librarian who works with scientists all day.  I need to read more as a stress reliever, and hope this will force me to make time for myself.  Happily married, two cats. 

Elissa: I'm a public librarian living in NY with my husband and cat.

Micaela: Too often my crafty nature keeps me from reading since I haven't mastered reading and knitting or sewing at the same time and audio books don't always work for me.  Hopefully this will kick my butt in gear.
